フランスの出版社Éditions Stockから発行された、ルイス・キャロル作『不思議の国のアリス』のフランス語版です
1940年代頃の「Collection Maïa」シリーズの一冊で、表紙には当時のフランスを代表する画家マリオ・プラシノス（Mario Prassinos）による独特なタッチのイラストが施されています
くすんだブルーと黒のバイカラーで描かれた装丁は、アリスの世界観を幻想的かつモダンに表現しており、背表紙にあしらわれた小さな動物たちのシルエットも目を楽しませてくれます
中を開くと、物語の名シーンである「ネズミの尾（長いお話）」が文字の配列で表現されたページやユーモラスな挿絵が随所に差し込まれています
挿絵には元の持ち主によるものと思われる彩色
経年による紙の焼けや表紙のスレ、角の傷みなどが見られますが、ヴィンテージならではの深い味わいとしてお楽しみいただけるコンディションです
本棚に飾るだけで絵になる一冊ですので、インテリアや撮影用のディスプレイ小物としてもおすすめです
