1908年の4月1日、エイプリルフールに贈られたフランスのアンティークカードです
フランスでこの日は「プワソン・ダヴリル（4月の魚）」と呼ばれ、魚をモチーフにしたお祝いの品を贈る習慣があります
本品は、ピンクの花々に囲まれた可愛らしい二人の少女が描かれたデザインで、少女たちの部分は立体的に起き上がるスタンドアップ仕様になっています
さらに、その背後からは深紅の魚が顔を出すという、遊び心あふれる贅沢なクロモカードです
カード裏面には、当時マルグリットとガブリエルという二人の友人に宛てて書かれた美しい手書きのメッセージが残されており、長い年月を経て大切に保管されてきたことが伺えます
エッジのカットも繊細で、当時の印刷技術と独特の色彩美が凝縮された一枚です
コレクションとしてはもちろん、お部屋のディスプレイとして立てて飾っても、アンティークならではの柔らかな存在感を放ちます
