細密な幾何学模様のレースペーパーの中央には、純白のドレスとベールを身に纏い、手に祈祷書を携えた少女の姿が浮き彫り（エンボス）加工で立体的に表現されています
足元にはフランス語で「Souvenir d'un beau jour（良き日の思い出）」と記されており、初聖体などの特別な儀式の記念として大切に保管されていたことが伺えます
経年による紙の変色や、手仕事ならではの細かな透かし細工の質感が、現代の印刷物にはない唯一無二の情緒を醸し出しています
光の当たる角度によって少女の輪郭やレースの陰影が美しく際立ち、デスクの上や壁面を静謐な空気感で満たしてくれる一枚です
