中でも19〜20世紀初頭のものには、動植物など自然をモチーフにした装飾が多く見られ、このエッグスタンドもそうした伝統を感じさせる一品です
このエッグスタンドは、大変古いもので、経年による小さな凹みやくすみ、傷などが見受けられますが、それらも含めて長い時の流れを感じさせる風合いが魅力です
